Bow Jester Guide

What is a Bow Jester?
A Bow jester is a jester that takes advantage of a Jester's Critical Rate and uses that power to make his bow uber-godly. The Bow Jester is a 1vs1 job, it is not made to pvp. The Bow Jester is made just to level (Giants, Azria, Dungeons) A RM is not needed as a BJ puts all points on dex, which also allows you to take less damage over time.

Time for the stats

Strength
Don't touch this as a BJ as you have no need for strength. You will be using a bow your entire life.

Dexterity
This is the one main stat,there is nothing much to it but Critical Rates and Attack speed as well as Block/Evade rate. You have no cap to this stat.


Stamina
Some people think that a Bow Jesters need 30-40 Stamina just to stay alive from one unlucky critical. That is a lie


Intelligence
Is also not needed

Str 15
Sta 15
Dex xxx (all points here)
Int 15

Skills needed:


* Bow Mastery max
* Perfect Block max

No other skills are needed for the Bow Jester.

Weapons needed:
Flamming Bow
Two-handed weapon
Attack: 152 ~ 154
Attack speed: Fast
Added bonus:
Critical Damage+20%
Critical Rate+3%
Required Job: Acrobat
Required Level: 45

This bow will be used untill level 105, you also need to upgrade this to +10 (element +10 just for good looks)



Legendary Golden Bow
Two-handed weapon
Attack: 292 ~ 294
Attack speed: Fast
Added bonus:
Dmg. of Crit.+40%
Att. Sp.+10%
Required Job: Acrobat
Required Level: 105

This is the last bow you will need, also it is wise to upgrade it to +10 as well (Element upgrade to +10 is just for good looks)

Armor needed (Sets):

Cruiser/Hyper lvl 45

2/4: Def+20, Bow Attack Power+10, Yoyo Attack Power+11
3/4: Def+41, Bow Attack Power+10, Yoyo Attack Power+11, FP Consumption-20%, MP Consumption-20%
4/4: Def+55, Bow Attack Power+10, Yoyo Attack Power+11, FP Consumption-20%, MP Consumption-20%, Additional Damage of Critical Hits+40%

Use this set untill level 90 or 105. You need to upgrade all pieces to +10

Restra/Rasra lvl 90

1/4: No effect
2/4: Def+21
3/4: Def+49, Crit Rate+15%
4/4: Def+49, Crit Rate+15%, Additional Damage of Critical Hits+40%

This set can be used for the rest of game play. You need to upgrade all pieces to +10

Jewelery needed:

Arek Rings 2x upgrade to +20
Demol Earrings 2x upgrade to +20
Gore Necklace upgrade to +20

Some people say that every class needs to pierce and awake weapons and armour. Now against all sanity, if you want to awaken any equipment, the only thing you really need is Dex.
More dex = Less damage taken, more attack, more crit, more attack speed.

This bow will be used untill level 105, you also need to upgrade this to +10 (element +10 just for good looks)
and say in the guide if you make any bow ultimate you cant use it anymore because if you make it ultimate the bow can be used only by rangers
